Hovers and Simps and Beasts, oh my!

One of the first emails I ever got was "Where can I get a Hovermutt?" And while I admit Hovers are rare here on our lovely planet, we do have the pleasure of interacting with the Hovers' distant cousins, the mutt itself. In my case I have two, Stogie and Hana (yes, THE Stogie and Hana sans the aforementioned hovering qualities). I'm going to try to see if I can upload a pic here but in the meantime, you gotta check out this 'mutt' video. It is hilarious! I'm thinking this particular fella only got as far as a 'hovering foot'. I realized awhile ago that animals are featured quite srongly in my books and while this was completely unconscious, I admit to having a deep love for animals of all shapes and sizes. Yesterday, while taking out all my Christmas decorations I came across a lovely Lady bug. A lady bug in the dead of winter! So, I watched it toddle along my arm until Stogie got in there with his usual sniffs and curious 'what's going on here' interup tions and ended up with it on his nose. Well, not really his nose. More like the fluffy moustache hair around his nose. Needless to say, he didn't like the tickle and shook the poor Ladybug off. I haven't seen her since but I hope she's enjoying my Harry Connick Jr. Christmas CD. Okay let's see if I got this picture uploading mastered. (clock ticking) (really annoying Jeopardy! music) Nope.
