Eggs!

Though Ty and I have been doing eggs since she was, like 2, I have to say that these are our best results to date!  And only one cracked!

Just a reminder to keep sending in your art work. I've received some really great stuff...just wonderful! The deadline's still not for a month but we don't want to rush all you Masters out there. As you know the winner wil recieve one of the Original Valador cloaks, just like the one I wear at my readings. It's a beautiful, heavy velvet with red satin lining and the golden Valador appliqued on the back. Janet DuPres, who used to be my costumer at the theatre, made each of them from scratch! So, keep 'em coming friends!

I had an awesome idea come to me for book 4 that I am very excited about. It will definitely accent the spin that is set for that book. In the meantime, book 2 is humming along nicely with a good few days of solid, sustained writing behind it. I love when I can slip in that kind of time.

It's funny, I remember buying a book many years ago called "Writers on Writing". It was just a whole bunch of quotes from writers all categorized into headings like Process, Money, Publishers, Angst etc and I would always go to the Process section, looking for the perfect routine that I could then fit into my life. But it never happened. I now realize that you can't fit someone else's system into your own. That would be like trying to fit their life into yours. The process will always be uniquely yours. If you have children, it will not likely be that you are plugging in the kind of hours that a single writer would. If you have dogs, you won't either. If you hate mornings you will not rise and shine like I do. So, find the writing groove that fits best into your wholly unique and individual lifestyle. That is the best process.

BTW, many thanks to annonymous for sending me the recipe for the Clover Pretzels. They were awesome! And very easy to make! Tylar made the ones with the green sugar sprinkles and I put basil on for those with less of a sweet tooth. Everyone gobbled them up! I'm going to try and insert the pic of them here.
