Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

This is a pic of my beautiful baby girl! Look at that face! How lucky am I? Sigh....Actually, this is a pretty old pic. She's a little lady now at 7 years old. But I just couldn't resist those little mischevious, happy eyes!

Today is Rampage of Appreciation Day and obviously she's at the top of my list :) We're gonna list all the things we appreciate in our lives. It will be such fun and watch how your day improves as you carry your appreciation around with you!

But first, let's get to another email, a question I get asked alot: "When is the next book coming out?" Well, I am working hard on it right now and have every intention of completing it for late Spring or early Summer. And then we will party, my friends! Woohoo! I will definitely keep you posted!

And now to the glory of appreciation! I appreciate:

the constant curiosity and joy of my daughter, how she chirps around the house like a little bird, making beds for her stuffies, snacking on handfuls of oreo cookie crumbs, singing little made up songs about her Littlest Pet Shop Pets. She is just a joy to behold, day in and day out and I am so lucky and grateful

my mum for being the greatest mum on earth...no word of a lie, she is the greatest mum a kid could ever have...ever!

all those who have read my book and sent me such wonderful letters! You are what keeps Root alive! I am so grateful and overwhelmed by your enthusiasm and support!

my friend, Nina for always making me laugh and being such a joy to be around, Michael for always coming to the "Handy Man' rescue, this latest crisis being a retarded garage door,Lori for inspiring me with her amazing talent, Rob for coming to the technical rescue far too many times to count

my pooches. I love them like...chocolate...

chocolate...dark...with chili nibs...mmmmm

that crazy guy who makes my insides bubbly...you know who you are :)

Tan, the owner of Lazia, who invited me to the grand opening of her lovely new upscale restaurant "The Wildflower Grill"....can't wait!

my dance class, where I can freely look like an idiot but feel like a ballerina

Okay, I just realized I could go on forever here...but the thing is, when we do this we realize just how lucky we are...and those stupid things that have been eating at us just kinda melt away, no longer important. So, now it's your turn. Name ten things that you appreciate. Write them down and feel the weight lift from your shoulders. And now carry them around with you and see how the world bends to that. Appreciation and gratitude are very powerful things, my friends. Seriously, it's kinda scary how they can instantly transform your life.

I really appreciate taking this time to appreciate....:)

And now....tea time....chai...green....mmmmmm

I try to do this, too because I also believe it really does work in sending it 'out there' and gettin' it back. Thank YOU for reminding me!
