K.R. Lilac is a Canadian bestselling author known for her middle-grade fantasy series, Root Karbunkulus, which has captivated young and old readers alike with its imaginative storytelling and richly detailed fantasy world.

 

Behind the pen name KR Lilac is Kamilla Reid, the creative force behind over three decades of film and live theatre production as a director, writer, and producer. Her award-winning film work has been featured in festivals throughout Canada, and her screenplay adaptation of Root Karbunkulus was recognized by the Academy’s Nicholl Fellowship.
