ABOUT KR LILAC

 

I came into this world madly in love with stripes, and I have continued this love affair well into adulthood. Thin along a pant leg or wall-papery thick, it matters not. As they say, “A good stripe is half the battle!”  And I couldn’t agree more.

 

I was also born with stories clinging to my chest. Certainly, that could have been the twine of my twin sister, but she in no way clings to me now whereas the stories have remained. For this, I am exceedingly grateful.

 

My writing hours consist of tea (cardamom, nutmeg, cinnamon, and black pepper) and a well-worn thesaurus named Pluck. My non-writing hours brim with music, laughter, homemade goodies, off-leash dog runs, and quiet contemplation in the company of flowers and finches. 

 

I enjoy phrases like ‘anywhositwhatsit’.
